Technical Service Representative, Managed Print Services
As the on-site technical support expert for our company, you will repair and network print equipment, utilizing your proven technical expertise and aptitude to learn about the functions and operations of multiple lines of manufacturers’ print, copy, scan and fax devices. You will be energized by learning and sharing new information and have patience and compassion for end-users who seek your experience and talent to perform their jobs. You must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and use your listening abilities to the advantage of your customer at all times. As an enthusiastic team player who thrives on hands-on technical work and professionalism, you will be motivated by solving technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Respond rapidly to technical service calls and be able to produce results and satisfy customers under pressure and with professionalism
- Proactively foster relationships with hospital staff and manufacturers’ equipment and supply representatives
- When called upon, act as the liaison with equipment and supply vendors as directed
- Under supervisor’s guidance, monitor and collect numerical data and prepare for analysis
- Support supply chain and device inventory control and be prepared to request assistance to complete tasks on time and with quality care
- Review and maintain manufacturers’ schematics and service manuals for all assigned devices and stay informed of new product lines in the print environment
- Complete preventative maintenance and repair records and maintain backup device inventory

- Demonstrated hands-on technical service and troubleshooting background in the print environment, including rapid response in a B2B setting
- Exceptional customer service, organizational and time management skills
- Independent thinker and device troubleshooter with strong decision making skills
- Technical background in print, copy, scan and fax devices and strong understanding of an IT/IS and networking infrastructure for e-communications
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking
- Innovative thinker who is a team player and inspires others to achieve goals
- 7+ years of technical experience in the print environment with strong customer service orientation
- Technical expertise as gained through employment or certificate of accomplishment in technology and/or software applications
- Professional certification (A+, Network+, etc.) a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Software Application or Engineering preferred
